The Founding Director of Central Insurance Brokers, Phillip Smith is a well respected Insurance Broker who has made a significant contribution to the Insurance Industry within Australia. Phill believes that excellence can only be brought about by ensuring that the behaviours and practices of the Leaders of the company are understood and duplicated across the business. He has developed very successful business processes and knowledge systems that govern the way work is done within the company. Recently semi retired, Phill will continue to be involved with the company as a mentor for Team Managers.

Anastasia Stevenson: Green Team Leader

Anastasia manages a range of business under the Green Team portfolio from small / medium business to large, corporate client accounts. Anastasia has been involved within the insurance industry for over 15 years with extensive experience in underwriting and broking.

Simon Wardman: Director & Gold Team Leader

For two decades Simon has provided insurance advice to a long list of appreciative and loyal clients. Simon is very much the ‘hands-on’ team leader. He is involved in all aspects of the business but is, above all, dedicated to excellent quality of service to meet the needs of clients. His passionate common-sense approach ensures a high level of respect from colleagues, clients and staff.

Aaron Wilson: Blue Team Leader

Aaron has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years including 7 years in senior positions with major insurers. Since 2005 he has managed the Blue Team, where he is responsible for servicing small to medium business and corporate clients. His extensive knowledge of the industry and strategic management of client needs makes him a very valuable asset to both our clients and our company.

Paul Flannery: Red Team Leader

Paul has been providing help and advice to business owners for over 20 years. With 5 years as an Underwriter for Domestic and Commercial insurance products, before changing sides and spending the last 7 years as a Broker. A good understanding of how each side of the industry operates provides a valuable and well balanced view of risk management to the benefit of company clients.

Noel Carter: Director & Black Team Leader

Noel has been in the finance and insurance industry in positions of seniority for over 30 years. During this time he has solidly built on a wealth of knowledge which has proved of immense benefit to his long list of loyal clients.

Katherine Burgess: Silver Team Leader

Katherine has been in the Insurance industry for 11 years, 7 of which have been at Central Insurance Brokers. Katherine tackles new challenges head on and is an energetic, friendly, personable and a caring young lady. She always sets high standards and at all times strives to better herself through the attendance at both internal and external training courses and other outside forums in which she can further develop her skill set and knowledge. Katherine has been an active member of the local Business Networking International Group (BNI) including holding the role of treasurer.

Cynthia Yap: Aqua Team Leader

Cynthia is a qualified insurance broker with over 15 years of experience in the insurance broking industry. She has a loyal client base comprising of small and large businesses. She provides professional advice and loves to assist clients through the complexities of insurance to help protect their businesses from unexpected disaster.
